A gutsy documentary that reflects the spirit of the land it expertly recounts ,the story of the origins of folk music in Romagna. It depicts the life and adventures of Aurelio Casadei, aka Secondo, founder of the orchestra by the same name Secondo Casadei. The movie was awarded first prize in the Folk Pop and Jazz Category at the Rome Music Docfest

Secondo Casadei (1906-1971); aka the man who defeated the Boogie, reshaped in his own language those rhythms and sounds that came from overseas. In this fashion he gave birth to that peculiar “local” swing which made him an incredible success in post-war Romagna. Zanchini is a fabulous accordion player native of Romagna. With his performance he successfully reproduces some of the best known themes of the master Casadei with new original arrangements and a distinctive jazz sound.
