After an intense world tour of 160 dates; Luca Aquino, one of Italy’s most valued and sought-after musicians abroad, will perform live his 7th music project: OverDoors, as the leader of a brand new and gutsy quartet. Strongly influenced by the music of the Ramones, the Offspring and the Stranglers, this trumpet player from Benevento regales us with his original rendition of Jim Morrison & Co. Classics.
OverDoors was born after the performance of “aQustico” (hosted in Cremella in 2013) and two years on a world tour with percussionist Manu Katché and his band. “… for a long time I fought my desire to dedicate an album to the Doors, my favourite band ever. In the end, my love for Jim Morrison & Co. won out” (won out e’ piu’ colloquiale) Aquino writes on his CD, produced by Paolo Freu’s TUK. It will take you on a psychedelic, free and easy trip, full of love into the music of the Doors.
